Smoke Signals 9/6: The Elimination Edition

Paul Cousineau and I are back on the cyberwaves tonight for some Cleveland Indians baseball talk with another edition of "Smoke Signals" from 11:00 - 11:30 p.m. EST.

The season is rapidly winding down, and with the loss to the Tigers yesterday in what really was a sweep or die series it looks like the Indians are all but done in the AL Central race. They are not mathematically eliminated, but pretty much are done now barring a major hot streak by the Indians and a major collapse by the Tigers. Paul and I will discuss this Tigers and Indians series and take about how the Indians stack up to this Tigers team going forward, a team that is as hot and playing as good as anyone in baseball. We will also talk about the return of Grady Sizemore and what that could mean for his future this offseason in staying with the Indians, the possibility of Tommy John surgery for Carlos Carrasco, and more.

It has been a rollercoaster ride of a season so far, come on and join us and listen in!  Feel free to call us at 1-949-203-4752 or email us at smokesignals@indiansprospectinsider.com to talk about anything on your mind.

Thanks again for listening!  No matter how things go this year for the Indians we look forward to another fun year talking Tribe!
