Arizona Fall League

The AFL is now moving into it's second week and you saw in our week one review yesterday how Indians prospects have been fairing so far. Let's just refresh your memory with their overall numbers for the Winter season.

Hawaii Winter League

Since the last update, the North Shore Honu have gone 1-1 to run their overall record to 5-9 for the season.

Player Updates (10/12 - 10/14): -

LHP Matt Meyer - Allowed 3ER in 1IP on 10/12 to run his overall numbers to a 9.53ERA (5.2IP, 9H, 6ER, 2BB, 6K) for the season.

LHP Shawn Nottingham - Worked 2 scoreless innings on 10/14 to lower his overall ERA to 4.00 for the season (9IP, 8H, 4ER, 6BB, 12K).

LHP Heath Taylor - Has not appeared since the last update. Numbers hold at a 2.35ERA in 7.2IP
C Adam Davis - Made his only appearance on 10/12 going 0-for-3 to take his overall average down to .143 (3-for-21) in 8 games.

3B Dustin Realini - Still hasn't played since 10/3 - 0-for-13 so far this winter season.

INF Ron Rivas - Appeared on 10/12 walking twice without an official AB and then went 0-for-1 as a pinch hitter on 10/14. For the season Rivas is hitting .167 (2-for-12).

OF Matt McBride - Went 0-for-4 on 10/12 to put him in an 0-for-11 slump. After an off-day returned on 10/14 going 1-for-4 with a 2-run double. For the season his average sits at .271 (13-for-48) with 6 2B, HR, 11RBI in 13 games.

LHP Kaimi Mead is still pitching for Holnolulu Sharks and has made 1 appearance since the last update; working a scoreless 9th inning to pick up the save against the Honu on 10/12 to run his overall numbers to 9IP, 8H, 3ER, 5BB, 6K, 3.00ERA in 5 games.


Caribbean Winter Leagues

VENEZUELAN WINTER LEAGUE

The VWL got underway on 10/14, but as most of the Indians players/farmhands were playing for either Caracas or Caribes they are going to have to wait a little longer to get their season underway as their game was postponed due to rain. As of the time that we ran this article, the box scores for Laras game against Margarita is not available. As a reminder the players listed on the Venezuelan rosters are as follows: -
