Aeros and Thunder Rained Out Friday
Series Tied 1-1; Game 3 Saturday at 6:05 p.m.
TRENTON, NJ – Game three of the Eastern League Championship Series was rained out Friday night in Trenton, pushing the remaining games in the series back a day.
The Aeros and Thunder will try again Saturday night at 6:05 p.m., with game four Sunday at 6:05 p.m. If necessary, game five will be Monday night, also at 6:05 p.m. All three games will be at Waterfront Park in Trenton.
Left-hander Ryan Edell (1-0, 1.23 ERA) will still start game three for Akron tomorrow, while Trenton sticks with scheduled starter George Kontos for his first start of the post-season. The game broadcast begins at 5:50 p.m. on SportsRadio 1350 AM and online at www.akronaeros.com.
