It's Sunday, and time for our weekly update on how the players in the Indians system are performing in winter league action. All stats are through Saturday November 7th.
One quick note to give congrats to Indians catcher Matt McBride who went 1-for-2 with a 2-run home run last night in the Arizona Fall League's Rising Stars game. McBride's home run came in the bottom of the 8th inning with his team trailing 7-6 and was the decisive blow as his team won 8-7. Third baseman Carlos Rivero also played and went 0-for-1 at the plate.
