A couple quick updates:
- Triple-A Columbus outfielder Matt LaPorta sat out last night's game because of a tweaked hamstring that he hurt during the game on Sunday. He is day to day.
- Recently acquired left-hander Scott Barnes has been promoted from High-A Kinston to Double-A Akron. He is expected to make his first start with Akron tomorrow (Wednesday).
- Barnes is replacing right-hander Bobby Livingston in the rotation, and Livingston is in Triple-A Columbus though not yet activated. He could be activated to backfill for a potential callup (Rondon? Carrasco?) who may soon no longer be with the team.
- Right-hander Jason Knapp is expected to make his organizational debut tonight for Low-A Lake County. Left-hander Nick Hagadone will go tomorrow for Lake County. Both pitchers are on three inning or 50-pitch counts, whichever comes first.

Could Livingston be replacing Lofgren? Is his injury bad enough for him to go to the DL?
Are Knapp and Hagadone on these pitch counts for the remainder of the season?
As far as I know, yes, Hagadone and Knapp will be on those pitch count restrictions the rest of the year.
Lofgren has a sprained thumb and is day to day. No DL situation yet and no word on if he misses a start or not or goes to DL. Livingston could replace him I guess, though Jack Cassel is also about ready to be activated. We'll see soon as Lofgren is supposed to start next on Friday I believe.
