Mahoning Valley Kicks Off Today!

Just a quick note to mention Steven Wright and Jim Deters have been promoted to Akron and Shawn Nottingham sent to Kinston. Chuck Lofgren, as expected, was sent to Winter Haven (extended spring training) to "clear his head". No word on who fills the rotation spot left void in Kinston with Wright leaving, but a good bet would be Lake County lefty Ryan Miller getting the promotion.

Anyway, short-season Single-A affiliate Mahoning Valley kicks off their season tonight. Short-season rookie level GCL Indians start play on Thursday. Here is the Mahoning Valley roster:
