Hi TL,
Although you are probably aware of it, some of the readers might not know that John Sickels has updated his end of season evaluation at minorleagueball.com for the Milwaukee Brewers and talks about the potential PTBNL. The Indians update is tomorrow. Your report was better and you can imagine my reaction to some of his choices but he does get some things right. You have to buy his book for the in depth stuff which is more important than his rankings.
Wow, he had Snyder and Drennen in his Top 10 coming into the year? Yuck. ANyway, I didn't see his talk about the PTBNL in the Sabathia trade....where is it?
I interviewed Sickels last year on some of the Indians prospects....he knows his stuff. Even the good ones make some mistakes with this lists.
Yeah,
I just gave him another ration of crap about Snyder, Davis and Espino. If you want some amusing reading, go to PCs site where he has a link and read the posts from the original ranking. I am sdtribefan on that site and indiansfan and I rake him over the coals. John and I go way back.
I am sorry I gave the impression it was a talk about the PTBNL. It was an update of the Brewers system that preceeded the Indians one. I don't think the indians can go wrong but I have started to lean to Brantley.
