Smoke Signals 8/26: Zach McAllister & More

Paul Cousineau and I are both back on the cyberwaves tonight with another edition of "Smoke Signals" from 9:30-10:30 PM EST.  Paul is back after missing last week while on vacation to Cheeseland.

It's starting to get ugly watching this Indians team as they have really struggled in all phases of the game for the past week or so.  We will discuss if the young players have hit a wall, what - if anything - can we get out of these final five weeks of the season, who may be in line for a September callup and who looks to get the "Jordan Brown" treatment and not get a call, and more.
Also, I have been all around the minor league circuit this past week in Akron, Mahoning Valley and Columbus and had a chance to interview several players.  I had a chance to talk to newly acquired right-handed pitcher Zach McAllister in Columbus on Sunday, barely 48 hours after his trade to the Indians.  We will air that 8-10 minute interview tonight.
