I still think the Indians should try and stretch Hagadone out into a starter. He is one of the few pitchers with legitimate "ace" stuff. Getting 6-7 innings of him pitching seems more valuable then a few innings at a time.

Chengy, i go back and forth on this. Hagadone looked outstanding last season in Kinston, minus some control issues...then tapered off as he moved on.

This year, in a condensed role, he's been perhaps the best pitcher in the organization.

If he can learn to stretch it out, then you have to consider him a factor in the rotation down the line. If not a starter, could he be anything other than a closer with that electric stuff (other than a starter...I mean)?

Having a guy like Hagadone to go along with Rage is ok with me. The Indians know better then most teams how important a good bullpen can be.

Perhaps, the move to the bullpen has helped Hagadone to realize his potential. On the other hand I am not ruling it out.

Here is my "dream" pen for next year.
