Update on Tony Lastoria

Tony Lastoria
Tony's partial nephrectomy (partial kidney removal) surgery was scheduled for this morning, a little after 7:00. Tony's wife e-mailed me a few minutes ago to let me know that the surgery went very well, and that he's in recovery as we speak. The surgeons were not only able to remove the tumor, but were able to save a part of the kidney. Tony did very well through the surgery and lost very little blood.

I'll continue to add updates to this article as I find out more information. Please keep Tony in your thoughts and prayers today...

Thanks everyone. Surgery was more involved than anticipated with them taking 2/3s of my kidney but being able to save it by amazingly leaving just a 1/3 of it. Been a slow and painful recovery with some issues here and there I am still working through. Hoping for the best and thanks!
