Smoke Signals 7/11: All Star break edition

Paul Cousineau and I are back on the cyberwaves tonight for some Cleveland Indians baseball talk with another edition of "Smoke Signals" from 11:00 - 11:30 p.m. EST.

We have finally reached the official end to the first half of the Major League Baseball season as teams enjoy a three day break for the All Star game festivities before starting up play again on Thursday.  After a hot start their first 45 games where they went 30-15, the Indians crawled to the break the next 44 going 17-27 and sit at 47-42.  Paul and I will discuss which team the Indians should more closely resemble in the second half, the 30-15 one that had everyone excited or the 17-27 one which has been frustrating to watch.  We will also do a midseason review of the roster with the highs and lows performance-wise and take a look at what the Indians may need to address in the second half if they want to contend all the way until the end of the season and potentially win what is a very winnable division.

It has been a rollercoaster ride of a season so far, come on and join us and listen in!  Feel free to call us at 1-949-203-4752 or email us at smokesignals@indiansprospectinsider.com to talk about anything on your mind.

Thanks again for listening!  No matter how things go this year for the Indians we look forward to another fun year talking Tribe!
