This Just In: Choo arrested for DUI

Early Monday morning Indians outfielder Shin-Soo Choo was arrested for DUI.  According to sources, Choo was arrested in Sheffield Lake after leaving a bar in the Avon area.  While not confirmed, a source close to the situation said that he had a blood alcohol level content of .20 at the time of arrest.

The Indians are aware of the situation and Choo is with the team on the west coast in Oakland and expected to play in the game tonight.  Indians GM Chris Antonetti released the following statement:

“We are aware of the incident with Shin-Soo Choo and have spoken to him about it. The Indians organization takes these issues very seriously and we are disappointed in the matter. We will continue to monitor the situation and we will not have any further comment at this time."
