This Just In: Talbot starts rehab assignment

Indians right-handed pitcher Mitch Talbot was assigned to Triple-A Columbus on Saturday to start a Major League rehab assignment.  While pitching rehab assignments last as many as 30 days in the minors, he is only expected to make two starts before being activated off the disabled list (right elbow strain) and inserted back in the Cleveland rotation.  He made his first appearance for Columbus on Saturday night going 5.0 innings and allowing 2 runs on 6 hits, 0 walks, and had 2 strikeouts.  He threw 69 pitches (49 strikes), and had a 9-2 groundball to flyout ratio.
