As I just tweeted, Triple-A catcher Carlos Santana left the game today with an apparent left leg injury. He injured himself in the third inning of today's game against Louisville where in his second at bat of the game he fouled a ball hard off his lower leg, foot area. He immediately collapsed to the ground and was in considerable pain, and had to be helped off the field by teammates as he could not put any weight on his leg. He will not return to the game today and finished 0-0 with a walk. It is too soon to know the extent of the injury and how serious it may be, though more information should be known in the next 24 to 48 hours.
I'll tweet an update on his status through my Twitter account as soon as it is known, and will also provide an update on the site as soon as possible.
UPDATE 2:28 PM EST: Santana looks to be okay. He is limping but he is day to day and not seriously hurt. X-rays not even taken, so a great sign.

A broken bone no doubt. Great now we are going to have to sit through Marson even longer! Ugggghhhhh!
We look to be in the clear....day to day, slight limp but nothing serious. X-rays not even taken.
