In the 29th round, the Cleveland Indians select: C Xorge Carrillo - Central Arizona College, 6'1" 205 lbs, DOB 04/12/1989.
UPDATE (7:03 PM EST): Jeff Ellis
The Indians really shocked the world taking another player from Arizona and their second catcher from Arizona in Xorge Carillo. Carrillo is a Juco player who is committed to Arizona State next year. He is ranked the 26th best prospect in the state of Arizona by BA. His strength is his defense, and he is a good receiver with a solid arm. He has a bit of a soft body and is not the best runner. Baseball America comped him to Bengie Molina and that seems pretty on par when you see him. He is an okay hitter, nothing special. If he is to make an impact going forward it will be with his defense.
