Around the Farm takes a quick look at some of yesterday's performances by Indians prospects throughout the system. The positions listed below are where the player was playing in yesterday's game.

Adam Abraham-3B, Kinston: 4-for-6, R, 2 RBI, 2 BB

An incredible two games from Adam Abraham in the double-header. He knocked in both runs of the K-Tribe's win and in the loss was 3-for-3 with a walk. Of his eight at-bats of the day, he was on base six times. The third baseman has hit 13 home runs this year, matching his total from last season with the Captains. He's on base to also surpass the 61 runs he batted in with 55 thus far. Abraham has put together a great start to August with a .318 average and seven RBI in 22 at-bats.

• Cord Phelps-2B, Columbus: 1-for-5, R, HR, RBI, K: Cord Phelps hit his 11th home run of the season in the first inning.
• Chad Huffman-LF, Columbus: 3-for-4, R, 2 2B, HR, 4 RBI: A big night for outfielder Chad Huffman, who not only hit a two-run home run, but doubled twice and knocked in four of the six runs the Clippers scored on the evening.
• Zach McAllister-SP, Columbus:: 6 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 1 BB, 6 K: Business as usual for Zach McAllister, who gave up a two-run home run and an additional run, but otherwise was in line for a win. That was until Mitch Talbot blew a lead. That would enable Talbot to pick up his first win as the Clippers would come back, but it robbed McAllister of his ninth win. 
• Michel Hernandez-C, Akron: 2-for-5, 3 RBI, K: Back in action with the Aeros, Michel Hernandez topped a big week with the Aeros with a three-RBI game against New Britain. 
• Kyle Bellows-3B, Akron: 2-for-4, 2 R, HR, RBI: With his fifth RBI in the month of August, Kyle Bellows hit his third home run of the season. 
• Nick Weglarz-DH, Akron: 2-for-4, 2 R, HR, RBI: Recently activated off the DL, Nick Weglarz has his second multi-hit game since then and he hit his first home run since June. 
• John Drennen-LF, Akron: 3-for-4, 2 R, 2B, 3B, 2 RBI: After suffering through a 0-for-18 drought, Drennen ended that streak on Friday and busted out with a three-hit performance on Sunday. He came a home run short of the cycle and knocked in his first two runs of August. 
• Austin Adams-SP, Akron: W (9-8), 6.2 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 5 K: With the turnover in Akron's rotation, it looks like Austin Adams is the defacto ace of the bunch. He picked up his ninth win of the season after pitching well into the seventh and giving up just two runs. He has not given up more than three runs since his first start of July and has gone at least five innings in each start since. 
• Bryce Stowell-RP, Akron: 1.1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K: Bouncing back from his first blemish while with Akron, Stowell struck out a pair and walked one in an inning and a third. He's now struck out 11 and walked five with the Aeros. 
• Tyler Cannon-LF/RF, Kinston: 2-for-4, R, RBI, BB: In the first game of Kinston's double header, Tyler Cannon knocked in a run, just his third in the past two games, but also in his past 10. 
• Brett Brach-SP, Kinston: L (6-9), 4.2 IP, 7 H, 5 R, 5 BB, 5 K: 
• Kyle Landis-RP, Kinston: W (7-0), 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K: What a season reliever Kyle Landis is having out of the K-Tribe bullpen. The former Pitt Panther has now won seven games and lost none in relief and he picked up the win of the bullpen's game of the double header. 
• Aaron Fields-1B, Lake County: 1-for-2, 2B, RBI, K: The only hit and run knocked in of the game for the Captains in their shortened Sunday contest came off the bat of Aaron Fields, son of Tribe Hitting Coach Bruce Fields. Fields has served mainly as a utility player for the Captains and has hit .255 in 17 games this year.
• Jordan Cooper-SP, Lake County: L (2-5), 7 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 1 BB, 3 K: Not a bad effort from starter Jordan Cooper. It will go down as a complete game, but it was an abbreviated one with the game ending after six and a half frames. Cooper gave up the four runs, two off a pair of solo home runs.
• Tony Wolters-SS, Mahoning Valley: 2-for-4, SB: A heck of a half that Tony Wolters is putting on in Mahoning Valley. He's a .300 hitter and now a 15-base stealer in just 46 games thus far. The third round pick of 2010 hasn't slowed down in August at all.
• Will Krasne-RP, Mahoning Valley: 4.1 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 1 K: A great effort in relief from Will Krasne, who couldn't do much to help the Scrappers score, but at least kept it from getting out of hand. He gave up a run but came on in relief of starter Harold Guerrero and finished up the rest of the game.
