Quick Notes on Pitching:

The pitching staff once again pitched well. The team ERA was 3.81, and they gave up a toal of 26 earned runs (34 total runs). They struckout 49 batters and walked 38. A few of the losses this week were walk-off wins.

Clayton Ehlert was held out of action this week.

Right-handed starter Felix Sterling had a rough Sunday. First, he took the loss in game one of a double header without physically stepping on the mound that day. That game was the continuation of a game that took place at Lake County last week. Second, he finally got on the mound in Dayton and took the loss in game two of the double header. He gave up seven earned runs in four innings of work. Kyle Blair relieved him and worked two scoreless (and hitless) innings.
