2010 Indians 17th Round Pick: OF Aaron Siliga

In the 17th round of the 2010 Draft, the Indians select OF Aaron Siliga out of Oceanside High School (CA).

Height: 5'10" Weight: 180 DOB: 08/24/1992 Bats: Left Throws: Left

Jeff Ellis: Aaron Silgia is a left-handed first baseman and outfielder out of California, the Indians favorite state this year. His senior year he hit .505 with 15 home runs and 19 steals, showing a bit of an all around game for Oceanside High School. Siliga was ranked 55th in the state of California one spot behind Cory Vaughan who went several rounds higher. He fits what the Tribe has been targeting as reports I have read gave him the cherished scrappy title, which means you have to be on the Tribe's radar. Siliga might end up long haul in the OF where his plus arm would have the biggest impact. He also has the bonus of being a lefty which is another attribute the Tribe tends to target in the draft.
