2010 Indians 26th Round Pick: RHP Ben Lively

In the 26th round of the 2010 Draft, the Indians have selected RHP Ben Lively out of Gulf Breeze High School (FL).

Height: 6'4" Weight: 190 DOB: 03/05/1992 Bats: Right Throws: Right

Jeff Ellis: Ben Lively is another big 6’4” high school pitcher for the Tribe. He has a four pitch mix and his fastball has hit 93. He throws a change up, slider, and curveball to complement his fastball. He has a solid, easy delivery that he repeats with ease. He should be a starter down the road thanks to his pitch repertoire. He is committed to Central Florida, but is another interesting player who should be able to throw harder as he adds more muscle to his 195 pound body. Once his fastball gets up to the mid 90’s, since he has three other pitches he can use, this kid could be one to watch whether or not he signs with the Tribe.
