The Clippers rallied back against the Norfolk Tides and won 6-5, with a Beau Mills walk-off single in the 13th inning.
With the bases loaded and nobody out, Mills pinch hit for Chad Huffman and poked one the opposite way to bring home Shelley Duncan.
Facing a 5-1 deficit heading into the sixth, the Clippers' bats got started with a Cord Phelps solo blast to left.
In the seventh, Jared Goedert's solo homer to right center cut the Tides lead to two. That lead was erased in the eighth as Jerad Head deposited a two-run shot into the left field bleachers.
In his first start since throwing a perfect game Tuesday, Justin Germano went 4.2 innings, giving up five earned runs on 11 hits. The Clippers then burned through their bullpen, which went a combined 8.1 innings of work without allowing a run and struck out 11.
Nick Hagadone (4-1) went three innings and struck out three to pick up the win.
Norfolk starter Brian Matusz went seven innings and gave up three runs but did not earn a decision. Josh Rupe (2-5) picked up the loss after surrendering the single to Mills.
Jeanmar Gomez (10-4, 2.34) takes the hill against Tides right-hander Mitch Atkins (2-4, 3.55), as the Clippers look to take game three of the four game set.

The Thunder will give the ball to left-handed pitcher Manny Banuelos, who is 4-5 with a 3.59 ERA in 2011. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
Kinston swept in Wilmington
The K-Tribe could not hold a second inning lead on Sunday afternoon, falling 5-2 in the final regular season meeting with Wilmington.
Looking at a one run first inning deficit, the K-Tribe offense rallied for two in the second. Casey Frawley and Anthony Gallas each reached base to start the frame and came home on an error and rbi single from Jordan Casas.
The Blue Rocks quickly wiped the Indians advantage clean, though, with two second inning scores of their own. With two outs and two on, Gerard Hall looped a bases clearing single to left that gave Wilmington an advantage never relinquished.
After the high scoring opening frames, both pitchers settled in, turning Sundays contest in to a rapid pitchers duel. Kinston Brett Brach allowed three runs (two earned) over seven innings while being saddled with the tough luck loss. Brach gave up six hits, struck out four and walked one.
Four of Kinston’s five hits came off of Wilmington’s starter Noel Arguelles, who held Kinston to two runs through six innings. Sundays sweep securing finale only took two hours and nine minutes to complete.
The K-Tribe receives a day off on Monday before getting back to action in Kinston on Tuesday night.
