Paul Cousineau and I are back on the cyberwaves tonight for some Cleveland Indians baseball talk with another edition of "Smoke Signals" from 11:00 - 11:30 p.m. EST.
Paul and I will talk about - what else - but the trade deadline and what the Indians did or did not do to improve themselves. The Indians made a big trade for Ubaldo Jimenez on Saturday night that centered around them giving up their top two pitching prospects in Drew Pomeranz and Alex White. It is a trade which fans appear to have mixed feelings on, so we will give our thoughts and explain what we like or don't like about the trade. The Indians also made a trade earlier in the week for outfielder Kosuke Fukudome and they did not pick up a coveted right-handed bat, so we will share thoughts on those things as well. In addition to that, time permitting we will talk about what is the start of a huge seven game road trip this week to Boston and Texas and what could be the backbreaker or the rally starter for the Indians this season.
It has been a rollercoaster ride of a season so far, come on and join us and listen in! Feel free to call us at 1-949-203-4752 or email us at smokesignals@indiansprospectinsider.com to talk about anything on your mind.
Thanks again for listening! No matter how things go this year for the Indians we look forward to another fun year talking Tribe!
