Jeff Ellis: Cody Elliot is an outfielder from Ball State. He was second team all MAC this past season. He played mostly center field for the Cardinals. He has a great arm in the outfield, and was a two way player for the Cardinals. His fastball sits in the low 90’s, but the Indians have drafted him to be an outfielder. With his arm and speed it means he could play all three outfield positions. He continues the Indians second favorite theme by being a great athlete as he was one of the best if not the best athlete in the MAC. With his mix of speed, athleticism, and defense he looks to be this year’s Holt or Henry type selection.
