Smoke Signals 6/28: Take 2 edition

Paul Cousineau and I were unable to get on the air last night due to some last minute schedule conflicts, so we will instead be back the cyberwaves tonight for some Cleveland Indians baseball talk in another edition of "Smoke Signals" from 11:00 - 11:30 p.m. EST.

The Indians are on a 9-game road trip playing through interleague play and trying to survive what has the potential to be a disaster of a trip. Paul and I will discuss the problems that lie ahead for the Indians as they try to salvage the last five games of the trip against the Diamondbacks and Reds. We will also talk about the Lonnie Chisenhall callup and Choo injury and what positive and negative affects both moves will have on the offense. We will also air an interview with Triple-A Columbus infielder Jason Kipnis from over the weekend, a player that fans are hoping is added to the big league roster soon and can maybe provide a spark.

These are tough times for the Indians, but come on and join us and listen in!  Feel free to call us at 1-949-203-4752 or email us at smokesignals@indiansprospectinsider.com to talk about anything on your mind.

Thanks again for listening!  No matter how things go this year for the Indians we look forward to another fun year talking Tribe!
